Research

Identifying, planning and implementing multidisciplinary research programs, that support wildlife management plans

Involved in conservation biology for over 40 years, our research has been at the heart of Houbara conservation. By combining fundamental and applied sciences, we deepen our understanding of ecosystems, species, and the challenges they face. Our work supports data-driven conservation strategies and helps restore populations throughout the whole ranges of the Houbara Bustard populations.

What we do

Using a science-based approach to conservation initiatives since 1986, we have expertise in data acquisition and management, and have developed project-specific databases.

We conduct scientific research across multiple fields to support conservation programs:

  • Plant and animal ecology

  • Reproductive physiology

  • Animal behavior

  • Ecosystem structure and habitat studies

  • Animal health

  • Conservation genetics

Since 1993, we have collaborated with 140+ scientific partners and contributed to 615 publications. Our team shares its expertise through academic training and research, producing journal articles, participating in conferences, and supporting scientific projects each year.

Using modern methods, we continuously refine our approach to tackle emerging conservation challenges and ensure a future for Bustard populations.
